GWO Working at Heights (WAH)

The GWO Working at Heights module is designed for personnel who work at height in wind turbines.

It provides the knowledge and practical skills to use personal protective equipment (PPE), prevent falls, and perform basic rescues in remote wind turbine environments.

Training includes:

  • Pre-use inspection and correct fitting of harnesses and lanyards

  • Use of fall prevention, work positioning, and fall arrest systems

  • Dropped object prevention and tethering techniques

  • Rescue and evacuation procedures using rescue devices

This GWO Working at Heights module ensures participants can work safely and responsibly at height, in compliance with global and national standards.

Duration: 14 hours (two days)
Validity: 2 years

No prerequisites for initial training.
