Joining Instructions – What You Need to Know Before Your GWO Course

Welcome to WAH Training Center – GWO Certified Training Provider.
Please read the following joining instructions carefully to ensure a safe, smooth, and efficient training experience.
 

1. Registration & Confirmation
To secure your place on a course, please:

• Fill out the registration form available on our website (download here)

• Send the completed form to info@wah.ro, together with your preferred training week

Once submitted, you will receive a confirmation email including course dates, start times, and location details.
If you do not receive confirmation within 24 hours, please contact us.
It is recommended that participants are registered in the GWO WINDA database before attending the course and have their WINDA ID ready. This ID is required to upload training records after successful completion.

2. Special Requirements & Additional Needs
If any participant has special requirements, this must be communicated at the time of registration.
This includes (but is not limited to):

• Language difficulties

• Medical conditions or physical limitations

• Learning difficulties

• Cultural or religious considerations

Providing this information in advance allows us to ensure a safe, inclusive, and effective learning environment for all participants.

3. What to Bring
Please bring the following items on the first day of training:
Identification

• Valid photo ID (passport, national ID card, or driver’s licence)
  Required for registration and identity verification.

Clothing & Equipment
Participants must arrive dressed appropriately for practical training and physical activity. Depending on the course, this may include:

• Sturdy work trousers and long-sleeve shirt

• Closed-toe safety shoes

• Weather-appropriate outdoor clothing

✔ All required PPE and training equipment are provided by WAH Training Center.
There is no need to bring your own equipment.
If you are unsure what clothing is suitable, please contact us before the course.
 

WINDA ID

Your WINDA ID number must be provided before or on the first training day so we can upload your training records to the GWO system.
Notes

• Notepad and pen (recommended)
  If you forget yours, no problem — we’ve got you covered.

4. Dress Code & Physical Requirements
Participants must:

• Be dressed appropriately for both classroom and practical exercises

• Be physically capable of fully participating in the training activities

If you have any medical condition that could affect your participation, please inform us before the course starts.
 

5. Course Start & Centre Induction
Please arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time to allow for registration.
All participants will complete a mandatory centre induction on the first day, which includes:

• Welcome and introductions

• Safety briefing

• Emergency procedures

• Course structure, schedule, and expectations

This ensures all participants understand facility rules and training requirements.
Assessment criteria will also be explained, and you will have the opportunity to ask questions.
 

6. Training Language
Training courses are delivered in Romanian as standard.
For group bookings, training can be delivered in other languages upon request, subject to availability.
Please inform us of any language requirements during registration.
 

7. Course Fees & Payment
Course fees are charged per participant and include:

• Training delivery

• Use of training equipment and PPE

• Lunch, snacks, coffee/tea, and refreshments during training days

The following are not included:

• Dinner

• Accommodation

• Travel expenses to/from Brașov

• Transfers outside Brașov city

Payment Terms
Full payment must be received no later than the final day of the course, unless a contractual agreement exists between WAH Training Center and your company.
⚠️ Certificates and WINDA uploads will not be issued until full payment has been received.
Payment Methods
Payment can be made:

• In advance by bank transfer

• On-site by credit card, debit card, or cash

8. Accommodation & Transport
Accommodation
If you require overnight accommodation, WAH Training Center can assist.
We partner with Pensiunea Floarea Soarelui, located approximately 5 minutes walking distance from the training center.
Benefits for WAH Training participants:

• 10% discount

• Breakfast included

Please mention that you are attending training at WAH Training Center when booking.

Local Transport
We offer free transport to and from the training center within Brașov city, subject to availability.
Please contact us in advance if you wish to arrange this service.
 

9. WINDA Registration & Certification
All participants must be registered in the GWO WINDA database, which creates a personal, lifelong training record for the wind industry.

After successful completion of the course (within a maximum of 7 days):

• A training certificate will be issued for each completed module

• Training records will be uploaded to WINDA under your personal ID

Certificates are internationally recognized by employers in the wind energy industry.
If required, we can also update your personal safety logbook.
 

10. General Rules & Participation
WAH Training Center reserves the right to refuse or discontinue participation if a participant:

• Does not meet course prerequisites

• Fails to comply with GWO standards, safety rules, or centre regulations

In such cases, we will consult with the employer or booking contact before taking further action.
All participants must comply with:

• Trainer instructions

• Safety rules and emergency procedures

• Training center house rules

11. Cancellation & Changes
If you need to cancel or reschedule your booking, please notify us as soon as possible by email or phone.
If payment has already been made:

• A refund may be issued, or

• The course may be rescheduled, subject to agreement
