GWO Sea Survival (SS)

The GWO Sea Survival module is intended for personnel working in offshore wind environments.

It provides essential knowledge and practical skills to enhance survivability in maritime emergencies, including cold water immersion, life-saving appliances, and safe transfer procedures.

Training includes:

  • Cold water survival techniques and use of personal protective equipment

  • Deployment and use of life rafts and other life-saving appliances (LSA)

  • Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) awareness

  • Practical sea survival drills and safe transfer between vessels and installations

This GWO Sea Survival module is essential for anyone working offshore, ensuring preparedness for maritime emergencies.

Duration: 6.5 hours (1 day)
Validity: 2 years
