Rope Access Refresher
(Polygon Singing Rock Methodology)
This refresher course is designed for technicians who have previously completed Rope Access training and need to renew their certification while reinforcing safe working practices.
The program focuses on revising key rope access techniques, improving efficiency in rope manoeuvres, and refreshing emergency response procedures. Participants practice essential skills used in real work environments while maintaining compliance with current occupational safety standards.
The training includes both theoretical review and intensive practical exercises to ensure that technicians maintain the competence required for safe work in rope-based positioning systems.
Participants refresh and strengthen skills in:

Inspection and correct use of rope access PPE

Essential rope knots used in rope access systems

Safe ascending and descending techniques

Passing knots, edges, and rope protection

Rope-to-rope transfers and deviations

Anchoring and rigging of rope systems

Movement on ladders, structures, and roof edges

Safe positioning while working in suspension

Securing tools during rope access operations

Basic hauling and lowering systems
Emergency preparedness remains a key component of the training. Participants review:

Rescue from suspension by controlled lowering

Self-rescue techniques using personal PPE

Rescue procedures using evacuation systems

First Aid principles for work-at-height incidents

This refresher course ensures technicians maintain the competence required to safely operate in complex vertical environments such as industrial plants, towers, façades, bridges, and wind turbines.

Prerequisite:valid or previously completed Rope Access training.

Certificate validity: 12 months.
