GWO First Aid (FA)
The GWO First Aid module is designed for personnel working in the wind industry who need to be able to recognize life-threatening situations and administer safe and effective first aid in a wind turbine environment.
Participants learn to assess incidents, provide lifesaving care, and manage casualties until professional medical help arrives.
Training includes:

Primary survey and first aid structure (D R (S) C-A-B-C)

Treatment of catastrophic bleeding, unresponsive casualties, CPR, and AED use

Management of burns, chemical injuries, fractures, hypothermia, and other wind industry–related incidents

Scenario-based training to apply first aid skills in realistic situations
This GWO First Aid module equips participants with the confidence and competence to act effectively during medical emergencies in remote or offshore locations.
Duration: 7 hours (1 day)
Validity: 2 years
No prerequisites for initial training.
